The Robotics with Micro:bits summer camp will prepare your child for the future! Digital technology is transforming our lives. An ability to understand and create practical hands-on projects, using such technology, is important. The Robotics with Micro:bits summer camp will aim to meet this need. In this camp, students will be introduced to a micro:bit, a mini computer. They will receive an introduction to computer science, hardware, coding, and robotics using micro:bits. These challenges will enhance computational thinking and logical reasoning. This 5-day, 3-hours-each-day camp is being offered in Red Oak and is designed for the age group of 8-14 years. They will need to bring a laptop with them to camp and will take home with them on Friday the mini computer and a robot.
