Our holiday activities are designed for kids ages 5–13, are staffed by trained, screened BRICKS 4 KIDZ® instructors, and have the best child:staff ratio around (8:1 or 12:2)!

Bricks 4 Kidz® camps are a fresh and fun way for kids ages 5-13+ to spend their school or holiday break! Guided by our experienced teachers and built around exciting themes, children will enjoy using LEGO® Bricks to build specially-designed Bricks 4 Kidz models, play LEGO®games, and explore the world of engineering and architecture.

If you enroll your child(ren) in a camp, what will they do? 

Your child(ren) will rotate between three building stations approximately every 40 minutes.  (An optional station will be available, in case a child finishes early.)  The three stations are:  technic build (motorized models that move), 3D figure build (using classic LEGO® bricks), and Perler™ build (a mosaic design, using Perler™ beads, to then take home each day)!  All equipment (i.e. kits with LEGO® bricks, Kindles, motors, battery packs, speed remotes, and Perler™ beads) will be provided! They will get to work with a new building partner each day! The optional station will have two different building possibilities:  mosaic build, using LEGO® 1×1 bricks, or creative build, using LEGO® Serious Play bricks.  During the 3-hr. camp, the kids will get a 15-minute break to eat their snack from home as an energy booster! 

The summer-camp themes to choose from are:

Bricks 4 God: Discover God’s unconditional love for all of us by delving into a handful of cherished Bible stories, covering Jacob, Joseph, Moses as a baby, Moses as an adult, and Samson. Your child will practice engineering as they use their building skills to create models of Jacob’s vision of a stairway to heaven, Joseph’s horse-drawn chariot, floating baby Moses on the Nile River, adult Moses parting the Red Sea, and strong Samson. These engaging model builds will encourage your camper’s faith, as well as provide fun, hands-on experiences.  In this camp, the instructor leads the model builds for each LEGO® station, reading a Bible story each day during the break time about the selected model.

Game On: For kids today, it’s all about the world of online video games and apps! In this camp, your child will get to choose from over 150 models for each LEGO® station, creating and building different characters from their favorite video games, such as Beyblades, Minecraft, Nintendo & SEGA themes, Duck Hunt, Pacman, Sonic the Hedgehog, & Zelda, Pokemon, Roblox, and Super Mario Bros.  New 2024 LEGO® models added for this camp will be models based on the popular LEGO® Masters Television program!

Movie Mashup: Join us on a movie mash-up adventure, offered in Waxahachie only! In this camp, your child will get to choose from over 150 models for each LEGO® station about their favorite movies, such as Angry Birds, Bat League Heroes & Villains, Bricks 4 Girlz, Despicable Me, Disney movies, Finding Nemo, Frozen, Harry Potter movies, How to Train a Dragon, Incredibles, Jungle Cruise, Jurassic Brick Land, LEGO® movies, Ninjago, Star Wars, Super Hero Academy, Teen Titan Go, Teenage Brick Turtles, Toy Story, and Transformers. New 2024 models added for this camp will based on the World of Wizards (e.g. Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts)!

Robotics with Micro:Bits: Digital technology is transforming our lives.  An ability to understand and create practical hands-on projects, using such technology is important.  The Robotics with Microbit summer camp, offered in Red Oak only, will aim to meet this need.  In this camp, students will be introduced to Micro:bit, a mini computer. They will receive an introduction to hardware, programming, and robotics using microbits. The challenges presented will enhance computational thinking and logical reasoning.  This one-week camp is designed for the age group 8-14.  They will need to bring a laptop with them to camp and will take home a microbit and a cutebot with them.
