Waiver

Effective April 17, 2024

AGREEMENT

By enrolling your child in any Bricks 4 Kidz® program, you agree to abide by the conditions in this Waiver, as updated from time to time.

STAFF

Staff are trained to provide our programs in a fun, enthusiastic, caring, inclusive, orderly manner.  Staff are not trained for children with special needs. Staff go through a criminal history background check.

REFUND POLICY

Refunds will not be issued for non-attendance at a scheduled class.

ENROLLMENT TRANSFERS

Transfers of child enrollment from one class to another might be accommodated depending on class-specific conditions, such as class capacity, and time limits. An additional charge or credit will be issued for a difference in fee.

CANCELLATIONS

Bricks 4 Kidz reserves the right to cancel any program or class for any reason, for example, insufficient enrollment or staffing.  A full credit or refund will be made less the prorated fee of classes already completed.

DISMISSAL POLICY

Upon class dismissal, children must be signed out.  The only people that your child will be released to are the registered Parent / Caregiver and people listed as Authorized Adults on that child’s registration profile. All authorized persons must be at least 16 years of age, and show government identification acceptable to staff.

If no authorized person has picked up the child by end of class, the Parent / Caregiver will be charged $25 per quarter hour to cover the cost of staff overtime.

CLASS CONDUCT

Children will not be allowed to harm any other person or property while class is in session. Bricks 4 Kidz reserves the right to release, without refund of program fees, any child whose behavior becomes unmanageable, as determined by staff.

Children who appear unwell, as determined by staff, will not be allowed to remain in class. A prorated credit or refund will be issued.

If staff call the contact phone numbers on file, the Parent / Caregiver must answer during class time. If requested by staff, the Parent / Caregiver must retrieve their child immediately.

Bricks 4 Kidz is not responsible for damages or loss of any personal property while at a class.  Students should not bring to class any personal property, including LEGO® Bricks such as minifigures, toys, or electronic devices of any kind.

DO STUDENTS TAKE HOME THEIR PROJECTS?

Since we use our LEGO® supplies in classes and camps throughout the year, students do not take home projects or pieces.

CONSENT TO USE PHOTOS FOR PROMOTION

I do hereby consent and agree that Bricks 4 Kidz has the right to take photographs of my child and to use these on the company website (www.bricks4kidz.com) and promotional material without compensation. Your child’s name will not be revealed. If you prefer we not use photographs of your child in this manner, notify us via email.

WAIVER OF LIABILITY

In consideration of being permitted to attend Bricks 4 Kidz programs, on behalf of myself, my family, my heirs, and my assigns, I hereby release Bricks 4 Kidz, its agents, and its employees from liability for injury, loss, or death to the above-mentioned participant while using any facility or equipment or in any way associated with participating in the Bricks 4 Kidz program now or in the future, resulting from the ordinary negligence of Bricks 4 Kidz, its agents and employees.
