Effective July 12, 2026
AGREEMENT
By enrolling my child in any Bricks 4 Kidz® program, I, the Parent / Caregiver of that child, fully understand and agree to abide by the terms and conditions of this Waiver, as updated from time to time. The terms and conditions of this Waiver include any and all written herein and on the Bricks 4 Kidz website, program descriptions, and communication messages.
At any time, if I do not fully agree or no longer fully agree, with the current effective terms and conditions of this Waiver, as updated from time to time, I agree that I must and will immediately notify Bricks 4 Kidz, who will unenroll my child from any and all programs, and deactivate my Bricks 4 Kidz account.
WAIVER OF LIABILITY
Prior to my child attending any program, I declare that I have had full and timely opportunity to consult with my medical professionals. I declare that I know of no medical reason, preexisting condition, vulnerability, or risk, for why my child should not participate in the enrolled programs.
In consideration of being permitted to attend Bricks 4 Kidz programs, on behalf of myself, my family, my heirs, and my assigns, I hereby release Bricks 4 Kidz, its agents, and its employees from liability for injury, loss, or death to the above-mentioned participant while using any facility or equipment or in any way associated with participating in the Bricks 4 Kidz program now or in the future, regardless of cause.
STAFF
Bricks 4 Kidz staff are coached to provide the programs in a fun, enthusiastic, caring, inclusive, orderly manner.
Staff are not trained for children with special needs. Staff does not provide one-on-one or special assistance to students in classes, for any reason.
Staff are background screened per the law and franchise rules, via the required Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse at https://info.flclearinghouse.com.
Bricks 4 Kidz reserves the right to substitute staff assigned to schedules at any time for any reason, without notification or compensation.
Bricks 4 Kidz does not provide information about staff, including credentials, contact info, etc.
PRICING, PAYMENTS, AND RECEIPTS
Bricks 4 Kidz reserves the right to change prices and fees at any time, for any reason, without notification or compensation.
All fee payments are due in full at the time my child is enrolled, either by me or by Bricks 4 Kidz via a Wait List, unless explicitly specified otherwise.
Bricks 4 Kidz reserves the right to deny or withhold services from me and my child while I owe any outstanding balance.
Unless explicitly stated otherwise, Bricks 4 Kidz does not provide signatures, nor make any statement or claim, or take responsibility, in any way whatsoever, on whether the Bricks 4 Kidz programs or payments made for them, can or cannot be used by the customer for taxes, expenses, subsidies, allowances, scholarships, reimbursements, or other purposes. Regardless, any such determination is entirely the responsibility of the customer in consultation with their own professional, tax, or financial advisors.
Payment receipts and corporate information are available.
CANCELLATIONS, TRANSFERS, AND REFUNDS
A refund or credit will not be issued after a program deadline for cancellation or transfer, for any reason. Any transfer of a program after its cancellation deadline is equivalent to cancelling.
A refund or credit will not be issued for non-attendance at a scheduled class, for any reason.
A transfer of child enrollment from one class to another might be accommodated depending on class-specific conditions, such as existing payments, schedule duration, class capacity, and time limits, at the sole discretion of Bricks 4 Kidz. An additional charge or credit will be issued for a difference in fee.
Bricks 4 Kidz reserves the right to cancel any program or class, at any time, for any reason, for example, insufficient enrollment or staffing, bad weather, flooding, etc., or for no reason provided. Bricks 4 Kidz reserves the right to schedule make-up classes to replace classes it cancels, on dates and times at its discretion, without further compensation. Otherwise, a credit or refund will be issued less the prorated fee of classes that have already occurred.
A payment processing fee of 6% will be deducted from all amounts refunded to payment cards. This processing fee does not apply to credits to my Bricks 4 Kidz account.
PARENT / CAREGIVER AVAILABILITY
Parent / guardian must provide two (2) phone numbers where someone will answer while class is in session. I agree that someone will answer the contact phone numbers on file in my Bricks 4 Kidz account while class is in session.
I agree that I or someone listed as an Authorized Adult on my child’s registration profile will retrieve my child immediately, if staff requests it.
DISMISSAL POLICY
Upon class dismissal, my child will be handed off directly to authorized persons including myself, a person listed as an Authorized Adult on my child’s registration profile, the driver of a vehicle displaying an official facility car tag bearing my child’s identification, or staff of the child’s school after-care program. Bricks 4 Kidz will not release the child to anyone else.
All authorized persons receiving the child must be at least 16 years of age, and present government photo identification acceptable to staff, at each dismissal.
If no authorized person has picked up the child by end of class, I agree I will be charged $25 per quarter hour, or part thereof, to cover costs.
HEALTH AND SAFETY
In the event of an emergency, as determined by staff, staff will call 911 first, then the contact phone number(s) on file. I agree that any and all related charges, fees, penalties, etc., are my responsibility, not that of Bricks 4 Kidz.
Bricks 4 Kidz staff do not take custody of, remind about, nor administer any medication or medical device whatsoever, unless directed by an emergency responder. Aside from an imminent safety situation, staff are not permitted to assist children in a manner that requires physical contact, for example, carrying, holding hands, hugging, changing clothes, etc.
I am aware that there are no restrictions on food or drink that children can bring to programs. I am aware that sharing food or drink is not permitted, but it is not strictly enforced.
Any child who appears unwell, as determined by staff, will not be allowed to remain in class. In such case, staff will call the contact phone number(s) on file. I agree that someone will answer during class time. If requested by staff, I agree that I or an Authorized Adult will retrieve the child immediately. An unwell child must be symptom-free for 24 hours before returning to our programs. No refunds or credits will be issued for absenses due to being unwell.
Only enrolled attendees, staff, and specialists authorized by Bricks 4 Kidz are permitted to remain onsite, outside drop-off and pick-up periods, unless specified otherwise explicitly in the program description, or as determined by staff. While onsite, anyone who is not background screened by Bricks 4 Kidz must remain continuously in the line of sight of staff, and only for a limited time, as determined by staff.
CLASS CONDUCT
Children will not be allowed to harm any person or property in any way while class is in session, as determined by staff.
The behavior of children must be conducive to the class being manageable by staff, for the overall fun learning experience of all attendees. Bricks 4 Kidz reserves the right to release, without refund or credit of program fees, any child whose behavior becomes unmanageable, as determined by staff.
In such cases, staff might call the contact phone numbers on file. I agree that someone will answer during class time. If requested by staff, I agree that I or an Authorized Adult will retrieve the child immediately.
Children must be fully restroom independent. Staff do not assist children related to the restroom in any way. Children are permitted to bring a change of clothes.
Bricks 4 Kidz is not responsible for damages or loss of any personal property while at a class. Students are not to bring to class any personal property, including LEGO® bricks / minifigures, toys, or electronic devices of any kind, except devices dedicated for medical purposes.
Students are prohibited from using cell devices in class. If I need to reach my child, I will contact Bricks 4 Kidz via the contact-us methods at https://bricks4kidz.us/florida-bradenton-sarasota/contact-us.
Bricks 4 Kidz does not guarantee certain partners for my child while participating in partner-based activities, and that partners might change throughout the course of a program, at the sole discretion of staff.
MEDIA RECORDING AND USE CONSENT
I do hereby consent and agree that Bricks 4 Kidz has the right to take photographs of my child, and to use these on the company website, and promotional material without compensation. My child’s name will not be revealed. If I prefer that Bricks 4 Kidz not use photographs of my child in this manner, I will notify Bricks 4 Kidz via the contact-us methods at https://bricks4kidz.us/florida-bradenton-sarasota/contact-us.
For certain programs, I do hereby consent and agree that photographs might be taken of my child and posted to a private album made available to the Parents / Caregivers of that particular program. Bricks 4 Kidz will not use these photographs for marketing purposes without my explicit permission.
I agree not to share the link of any private photograph album. I agree not to share any photographs that include children other than my own, without explicit permission from the Parents / Caregivers of those other children.
Bricks 4 Kidz does not guarantee how long any photographs will be available via private albums before being deleted permanently, without notification or compensation.
I agree that I am not permitted and will not take media recordings of any kind, including but not limited to photo, video, or audio recordings, at any Bricks 4 Kidz program.
STUDENTS DO NOT TAKE HOME PROJECTS
Since Bricks 4 Kidz uses its LEGO® equipment and supplies in classes and camps throughout the year, students do not take home projects or pieces. Any student who steals Bricks 4 Kidz property will not be permitted to return to the programs.
REGISTRATION SYSTEM
I understand that the registration system is provided by Bricks 4 Kidz for my benefit and the benefit of the organization sponsoring the event I am registering for.
I understand that my email address will be added to the Bricks 4 Kidz Newsletter distribution list, and that I can opt out at anytime via a dedicated link in the Newsletter.
I understand that Bricks 4 Kidz does not sell, rent, or share my information with anyone else.
I understand that Bricks 4 Kidz is not liable for the way this information is used by the organizers or any third-party that might get access to this information.
