Workshop Overview

Fun exciting activities using LEGO® Bricks and model building! Each workshop has a different theme. So kidz can come to one or all, and it will be a new experience each time. Every kid will take home a Bricks 4 Kidz minifigure.

We’re always doing activities that help kidz learn STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math) fundamentals in ways that are fun and engaging. Kidz in our programs usually don’t realize they’re learning something because they’re having so much fun doing it!

Activities

• Free play: LEGO®, DUPLO®, and Jumbo blocks
• Structured play might include: mosaics, sculptures, mechanical / motorized models
• Kidz partner up to build teamwork skills
• Snack time

Food & Drink

• Cheese pizza will be served – kidz bring water bottle
• Other food and drink are not supplied – tap water is available onsite

Rules

• Safe | Respectful | Responsible | Fun!
• Drop-off event only – parents of first-time students can stay a few minutes
• No personal toys or electronic devices
• By enrolling your kid, you agree to Waiver

Health & Hygiene

• Staff do not remind nor administer any medication whatsoever
• Kidz must be fully restroom independent – individual attached restrooms are available onsite – staff do not assist in any way
• If a kid appears unwell, or behaves in a manner that is unmanageable, staff will call the contacts on file to retrieve the kid immediately

Lakewood Ranch (LWR) Kidz Night Out

• Facility: Martial arts studio, with air-conditioned rooms, and attached padded physical activity area
• Map: Laping Martial Arts Black Belt Academy – 4128 Lakewood Ranch Blvd, Bradenton, FL 34211
• Instructions: Driving South, “Shoppes at Business Park” complex entrance on right side by Skyline Chili, but before Pizza Hut – look for martial arts logo with two fists bumping

Sarasota Kidz Night Out

• Facility: Former Montessori school, with air-conditioned classrooms, and covered outdoor playground
• Map: Unitarian Universalist Church of Sarasota, West Wing – 3975 Fruitville Rd, Sarasota, FL 34232
• Instructions: Driving West, entrance on right side just after Cardinal Mooney school, but before Bobby Jones Golf Club – walk through courtyard to the “West Wing”
