About – Bricks 4 Kidz – Puget Sound, WA

Walkership LLC DBA Bricks 4 Kidz Puget Sound is owned and operated by Kristi Walker and her husband Tim Walker. They reside in Tacoma, Washington with their two children.

As a teacher and an engineer, respectively, and dedicated volunteers for FIRST Robotics, they were inspired to similarly look for an opportunity to spread STEAM concepts (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math) in a fun way full time. They found Bricks 4 Kidz, a young but fast-growing child enrichment franchise. It was a perfect fit. They started Bricks 4 Kidz Tacoma in 2012 and quickly expanded to server greater Tacoma and then most of Pierce County. Schools and community centers were happy to offer these programs, parents loved the STEAM education aspect, and kids had a blast building and playing with LEGO^® models.

They continued to expand to reach even more families. In 2015 they acquired Bricks 4 Kidz South Sound to serve neighboring Olympia and Thurston County. During the pandemic in 2020, they acquired Bricks 4 Kidz Kitsap, reaching north across the Kitsap Peninsula. By 2024 they had become the largest Bricks 4 Kidz franchise in North America and won international Franchise of the Year.

Currently, Tim is also the Advisory Council Representative for the Western North America Region of Bricks 4 Kidz and Kristi directs the operations of Bricks 4 Kidz Puget Sound. They are proud to serve their community and welcome questions, feedback, and partnerships, so contact them any time.
