Bricks 4 Kidz® Coral Gables — Waiver & Program Policies

Welcome to Bricks 4 Kidz® Coral Gables! We’re excited to provide your child with a safe, fun, and engaging STEM learning experience. To ensure clarity and safety for all families, please review and agree to the following policies, waivers, and releases.

1) General Policies

Ages Served: Programs are designed for children ages 5–12 (unless otherwise noted).
Program Location: Programs may take place at our Coral Gables studio and/or at partner locations (schools, community centers, event venues). These policies apply at all locations.
Check-In / Check-Out: Parents/guardians must sign children in and out daily. Only individuals listed on the registration form will be permitted to pick up your child. Photo ID may be required.
Drop-Off & Pick-Up Timing: Children may only be dropped off and picked up during designated program times. Early drop-off and late pick-up may not be permitted due to staffing and safety requirements.
Late Pick-Up: A late fee may be applied if a child is not picked up on time. Late fees must be paid before attending future sessions.
Behavior & Conduct: Bricks 4 Kidz® reserves the right to dismiss any child whose behavior is disruptive, unsafe, or harmful to others. No refunds will be provided in such cases.
Personal Belongings: We are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property brought to class or camp.
Restroom Policy: Children must be able to use the restroom independently. Staff may provide verbal guidance but cannot assist with toileting.

2) Health & Safety

Illness Policy: Children who are ill or display symptoms (fever, vomiting, contagious conditions) should not attend. Bricks 4 Kidz® staff may request a child be picked up if symptoms occur during the program. Parents/guardians must be reachable by phone during program hours.
Medications: Staff cannot administer medication. Parents/guardians are responsible for all medication needs.
Medical Emergencies: In case of accident or illness, we will attempt to contact parents/guardians immediately. If emergency care is required, I authorize Bricks 4 Kidz® staff to obtain medical treatment and I agree to assume full financial responsibility for all expenses incurred.
Allergies: Parents/guardians must disclose allergies on the registration form. We are a nut-aware program and request that lunches/snacks do not contain peanuts or tree nuts.

By enrolling my child in a Bricks 4 Kidz® Coral Gables program, I acknowledge and agree:

Bricks 4 Kidz® may take photos or videos of children during programs for educational and promotional purposes (website, brochures, social media).
If you do not wish your child’s image to be used, please indicate this in writing at registration. Otherwise, permission is considered granted.

5) Refunds, Credits & Transfers

Deposits/Payments: Full payment is due at registration unless otherwise noted.
Refund Policy: Refunds are available up to 14 days prior to the program start, minus a $25 processing fee. Within 14 days, credits may be issued for future programs but no refunds will be given.
Transfers: Families may transfer registration to another session if space allows.
Missed Days: No refunds or make-ups are provided for missed days due to illness, vacations, or schedule conflicts.

6) Dismissal Policy

Children must follow all safety and conduct rules.
Bricks 4 Kidz® reserves the right to dismiss a child if behavior is unsafe, harmful, or disruptive.
Parents/guardians will be contacted for immediate pick-up if dismissal occurs.

7) Acknowledgment & Agreement

By completing registration, I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and agree to the terms outlined in this Waiver & Program Policies page, including the Liability Release, Medical Authorization, and Media Policy.
I understand that my electronic registration serves as my legal signature for this agreement.

When Are Camps Offered?

Most people are aware that we offer summer camps every year.

In addition to summer camps, we may offer the following single-day and full-week camps based on the Miami-Dade County Public Schools (MDCPS) calendar:
